DOT Driver - Moody

Overview

The Enterprise Truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a Part‑time DOT Driver. This role provides transportation solutions within the commercial truck industry by renting vehicles business to business. The candidate will receive compensation of $12 per hour and will be based at 2514 Moody Parkway, Moody, AL 35004. The position does not allow for any other paid employment.

• Drive and deliver medium duty trucks, cargo, and heavy duty pickups to and from rental locations, dealerships, and vendors, following all rules of the road
• Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destination
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off or pick up multiple vehicles
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
• Communicate via 2‑way radio or cellular phone as needed
• Clean vehicles when required
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must read and speak English
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license for at least one year
• No more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents in the past three years
• No drug or alcohol related convictions (e.g., DUI/DWI) in the past five years
• Must have at least six (12) consecutive months of prior work experience
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations
• Applicants must submit an appropriate medical examiner’s certificate or successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination
• No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed)
