Database Administrator

There's an internship opening at TJX Companies for a Database Administrator, and the work starts where Collaboration meets a genuinely hard problem. Few Oklahoma City employers pair $71,000 - $102,000 with this much general autonomy, and fewer still ask only 5 years to earn it.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across TJX Companies to hit shared goals
• Keep the TJX Companies backlog ruthlessly honest about what's truly next
• Keep senior expectations grounded in what the internship role can deliver
• Monitor work quality and flag issues before they discard
• Own the boring middle of a project, not just the kickoff
• Partner sideways with teams who rarely sit in the same room
• Make peace with plainspoken ambiguity and ship anyway
• Hand off Written Communication work clean enough that nobody has to ask twice

• Hands-on general experience that holds up to follow-up questions
• Comfort being measured against a clear senior bar
• Knowledge of OK-specific regulations relevant to general work
• 5+ years navigating the politics that general work attracts

With $71,000 - $102,000 as the anchor, expect mentorship, a benefits package worth bragging about, and the latitude to work remote-first.

We are growing the TJX Companies team in OK and adding this position immediately.
