Are you ready to make a difference? At Mercy Hospital, we are looking for a dedicated Resource RN to provide exceptional nursing care in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Position DetailsLocation: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City
Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Your RoleAs a Resource RN, you will:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients in accordance with professional nursing standards.
- Utilize theoretical concepts to guide your decision-making in practice.
- Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state or compact licensure.
- Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in critical care.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days of hire). Additional certifications may be required based on the unit.
This role requires:
- The ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Physical agility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
