Guest Advocate; Cashier or Front of Store Attendant​/Cart Attendant; T2727

Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) – Part-time, with starting hourly rate of $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events; explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, complying with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet, and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; assist with enrollment and use of these features.
• Assist with returns per policy, consulting with leadership as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies, reporting hazards as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU), and ensure compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

• Accurate handling of checkout operations and support for cash office tasks as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally; frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds; flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by duties such as Drive-Up or carryout.
