Customer Service Rep
PHARMACY/TECHNICIAN – KROGER MOUNTAIN VIEW FOODS
Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, maintaining a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and being a responsible community member. Deliver the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services consistent with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations and guidelines, and report unsafe conditions to store management.
- Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
- Follow company guidelines for computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of all medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
- Maintain departmental standards, keeping workstations and customer areas clean and organized.
- Count, measure, and prepare specified products using company best practices.
- Complete billing procedures to ensure the best value for the customer and the company.
- Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and provide appropriate assistance.
- Adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, cash shortages, and corporate shrink policies.
- Operate the cash register and follow cashier handling policies for all transactions, including Credit/Debit cards, EBT, gift cards, cash, and checks.
- Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
- Assist the pharmacist with all responsibilities that do not require a pharmacist’s professional judgment.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and the company’s policies regarding confidential information.
- Support company health and wellness initiatives.
- Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
- Work cooperatively in a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Meets minimum state requirements for the position.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior comparable experience.
- Experience as a pharmacy clerk.
- Familiarity with EPRN.
