Overview

We're seeking an experienced Therapist to join our mission, providing specialized support to those navigating trauma. This pivotal role requires relevant Indiana State Licensing and a commitment to offering compassionate care as we continue fostering healing and recovery within our community.

Peace Restored, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Mooresville, Indiana. Through innovation and collaboration, we provide services to adult women living with the effects of trauma, abuse, and grief in the state of Indiana and beyond. Both trauma-informed care and a faith-minded perspective are at the center of our approach because both are integral to healing. We are developing models of care that are restorative, holistic, and proactive by integrating a team approach that provides peer, therapeutic, crisis, educational, and mentorship support, and recovery services.

* Please note:

Kendrick Foundation offers a generous incentive program for clinicians who contract to work within Morgan County for up to $15,000. When hired for this position, this therapist will be given the opportunity to apply for the Kendrick program.*

Requirements
  • Must have and maintain one of the following Indiana State Licenses or an equivalent license in another state and currently pursuing Indiana licensure: LMHCA, LMHC, LMFT, LMFTA, LCSW
  • Applicants with EMDR, Brain spotting, or TF-CBT training or certification preferred
  • Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with women who have experienced abuse or trauma in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including comprehension of information and directives given by these means
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professionalism and ethical behavior
  • Flexibility and time management skills
  • Able to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and develop collaborative relationships with coworkers and service providers in the community
Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments
  • Facilitate education or therapy groups
  • Conduct individual sessions
  • Monitor and document client progress through timely and well-written progress notes and treatment plans
  • Provide periodic detailed reports of client progress and treatment efficacy
  • Participate in regular supervision, case consultation, and staff meetings
  • Effectively managing crisis situations, should the need arise
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay abreast of the latest trauma and crisis treatment modalities and stay compliant with Peace Restored policies
