Medical Assistant II-Primary Care Pediatrics Mooresville

Job Summary

Full-time, 40 hours per week at 820 N Samuel Moore Pkwy Ste A, Mooresville IN 46158.

• Perform direct patient care and clinical direction under assigned physician supervision.
• Ensure completeness of ordered procedures, smooth patient flow, and accurate medical orders.
• Register and schedule patients per organizational procedures.
• Maintain EMR files and perform general front office functions as needed.
• Precept current MA team members or MA Externs as requested by leadership.

• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Current certification in medical assisting required from AAMA, AMT, NCCHA, NCMA, and/or AMCA.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA, ICD-10, CPT coding, and insurance plans required.
• TB validation within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of Business Unit Quality Programs, Meaningful Use, and Standard Work Programs within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures and third‑party payers required.
• Proficiency in basic math and accurate data collection and entry skills.
