C Shift Supervisor

The Role

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the department. Meet or exceed company daily goal shipping volume for outbound. Set objectives and ensure pallet area are fully staffed and associates are focused on building orders to set up for outbound. Responsible for the accuracy and punctuality of all shipments. Supervises and coordinates workers for maximum safety, and productivity without sacrificing quality.

Job Title: C Shift Supervisor

Location: Mooresville, Indiana

• Oversees incoming shipping activities to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Examines work for efficiencies, exactness, neatness, and conformance to standard operating procedures.
• Studies bills of lading, customer orders (pick tickets), and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet schedules.
• Conducts weekly meetings as needed to address shipping goals, short- and long-term plans, schedules, policy changes, equipment maintenance and safety issues.
• Establishes shift schedules during peak periods and slowdowns.
• Supports growth and development of department associates.

• 1 - 3 years of leadership related experience
• 1-2 years of shipping or similar experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; WMS system experience or similar supply chain software used at the site
