As a Security Guard - Distribution Screening in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals in a professional and courteous manner, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or leaving the location as required by site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and unusual activity according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Communicate important information to management and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff with additional security-related tasks as directed by site leadership.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
