We are hiring tax preparers to join our team. This is a seasonal, part-time position.
This person will be completing State and Federal tax returns for individuals and small businesses (corporate returns, depending on experience). If you enjoy tasks that require great attention to detail and are passionate about making an impact, this Tax Preparer position may be a great match for your skills.
Responsibilities- Check in with clients to gather imperative information/documents.
- Put transaction tax returns in order utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies.
- Maintain other related duties.
- Experience with Intuit Pro Series is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work.
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data.
- 1+ year experience preparing tax returns – AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred.
