VP Administrative Assistant – Lowe's Companies, Inc.
Work Environment – This position is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office provides a collaborative space where you can work, take a walk, grab coffee, workout, or get a check‑up.
ImpactThe primary purpose of this role is to enable effectiveness and productivity of Vice President level company officers and thereby the business unit, by providing varied and complex operations, administrative and logistical support.
Responsibilities- Provides administrative support for the VP, including routing routine correspondence, preparing communication and other documents, developing presentation materials, and handling reporting duties.
- Proactively maintains and manages calendars for one or multiple Vice Presidents, ensuring they are prepared with supporting materials for operations and meetings.
- Acts as the contact person for internal and external customers, using good judgment to respond to requests; may communicate on behalf of the VP(s).
- Produces a wide variety of routine and complex documents, reports, presentations, and other correspondence with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information, exercising discretion in its dissemination.
- Coordinates and manages special events, including scheduling, invitations, logistics, catering, and supplies.
- Assists with department budget or expense reports, performing analysis or projections as requested.
- Collaborates with VP(s) to ensure excellent onboarding for new employees within their unit.
- Coordinates all aspects of the VP’s travel, including flights, hotels, rental cars, itineraries, and prepares necessary materials.
- Consistently plans ahead, manages time effectively, coordinates project information, and delegates responsibilities when appropriate.
- Conducts internet research or uses internal resources to find solutions to daily problems.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- 5 years’ experience as an administrative assistant supporting senior level leaders.
- Proven administrative experience in a matrixed corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
