Psychiatrist

Description

We are seeking a psychiatrist to join Iredell Health System in Statesville, North Carolina to join our team caring for patients on our inpatient unit. Potential growth to outpatient services with anticipated development of a psychiatry residency program.

• Utilize advanced treatments cutting-edge therapies
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance-use disorders
• Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care
• Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards

Qualified candidates:

• Board certified/board eligible in psychiatry
• Active or eligible medical license in the NC, or ability to obtain one
• Experience or strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care
• Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to program expansion and medical education
