General surgeon opportunity with Duke Health on Lake Norman, NC
Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible general surgeon to join a well-established surgery practice in Mooresville, NC. Fellowship training or equivalent experience in colorectal or endocrine surgery is a plus, though not required. This is an excellent opportunity to join four stellar surgeons and one APP as a general or specialty surgeon, while serving as an ambassador for Duke Health programs at Lake Norman.

- Weekly schedule includes 2 days of clinic and 2 days in the OR
- Practice can be a mix of both acute care surgery and elective cases
- Practice growing to 6 surgeons
- New clinic space being developed across the street from the hospital
- Call is presently 1:4, moving to 1:6
- Physicians are paid for all call shifts
- DaVinci robot on-site

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital is a 123-bed acute-care facility with a comprehensive range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. The medical campus includes 24-hour emergency medicine, acute care surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, maternal-fetal medicine and women's services, and a weight loss surgery center among its services. The campus has an outpatient imaging center and outpatient surgery center.
Mooresville is on Lake Norman, the largest lake in North Carolina and less than 30 miles from downtown Charlotte. The area boasts excellent schools, a variety of outdoor recreational activities on Lake Norman, and a thriving local economy.
