Vice President of Operations – Bridgetree

Bridgetree is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the operational strategy, scalability, and efficiency of our technology-enabled marketing and data services

This role sits at the intersection of agency operations discipline (utilization, profitability, delivery frameworks) and technology-enabled service delivery (data pipelines, system integrations, software builds, AI, and customer engagement campaigns). The VP of Operations will ensure our services are delivered with operational excellence, profitability, and measurable client impact.

As a member of the executive team, this leader will oversee day-to-day operational performance while building the infrastructure to support Bridgetree’s next phase of growth. The VP will partner closely with our VP of Architecture/R&D /R&D to operationalize solution design into scalable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Design and implement scalable operational frameworks to deliver Bridgetree’s data, technology, analytics, and customer engagement services – on time, on spec, on budget.
  • Optimize workflows across account management, sales, and functional delivery teams (data management, analytics/reporting, application development, campaigns, client success).
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve delivery consistency and efficiency.

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Oversee resourcing models (FTEs, contractors, freelancers) to balance billable utilization with client demand.
  • Lead workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to support the delivery of technology and engagement services

  • Partner with HR to drive onboarding, training, and professional development for operations teams.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Partner with Sales and Finance to forecast revenue, manage margins, and track project/client profitability

  • Monitor and mitigate scope creep, implementing effective change management practices.
  • Own operational KPIs, including utilization %, delivery health, on-time performance, client profitability, and campaign effectiveness
    .

Technology & Systems Enablement

  • Partner with R&D/Architecture to operationalize custom data integrations, software builds, AI deployments, and campaign delivery systems
    .
  • Ensure governance for data quality, integration reliability, and AI adoption across services.
  • Drive evaluation and implementation of tools that improve scalability, efficiency, and campaign impact.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to translate solution designs into efficient delivery models.

Data, Analytics, AI & Engagement Service Operations

  • Build operational frameworks for the delivery of data pipelines, system integrations, custom applications, and customer engagement campaigns
    .
  • Ensure AI and analytics are embedded into campaign operations
    , enabling personalization at scale.
  • Define KPIs for data accuracy, system uptime, AI adoption, campaign relevance, and delivery velocity alongside profitability/utilization.

Client Delivery Support

  • Partner with client leadership to ensure smooth onboarding, consistent service delivery, and measurable client impact.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational challenges in data, software, and campaign delivery

  • Align operations with clients and client teams to deliver client outcomes
    .

Strategic Leadership

  • Provide executive dashboards on revenue, utilization, profitability, and client health.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on long-term planning, org design, and growth strategies
    .
  • Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across all teams.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years in operations leadership, with at least 5 years in agency, consulting, or technology-enabled services
