Responsibilities:

This position provides analytical support to a project or department. Under the guidance of a team leader, responsible for collecting and researching data, performing analysis, providing recommendations, and presenting results.

• Provide leadership for projects with a small scope.
• Gain experience and build skills through on-the-job learning and guidance received from Business Analyst II.
• Serve as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manage changes to such specifications, and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.
• Provide leadership to the project team for basic to moderately complex projects with small scopes.
• Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-entity, enterprise-wide initiatives that will encompass an end-to-end analysis.
• Responsible for all communication, requirements gathering, and documentation of assigned projects.
• Develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed solutions and process improvements.
• Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements.
• Align projects to management strategy.
• Produce new process improvement techniques and services.
• Develop metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Create, develop, and maintain project timelines for key deliverables by developing project plans, monitoring milestone completion, and coordinating project progress.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business or equivalent relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and/or testing.
• 3-5 years of work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or testing.
