Your Impact

The Lowe’s Foundation Sr. Analyst will support the execution of the Foundations’ national strategy, focused on skilled trades workforce development. Reporting to the senior manager or manager, Lowe’s Foundation, the sr. analyst will be responsible for supporting outreach and engagement, the application evaluation process, due diligence, impact measurement, and relationship building, both internally and externally. The sr. analyst will lead the grant review process for an assigned portfolio of grantees.

The sr. analyst will lead the grant review process for an assigned portfolio of grantees and the engagement of the appropriate Lowe’s Foundation Board subcommittee. The role will also support the development of a grant recipient pipeline and lead community impact projects at Foundation fundraising events. The sr. analyst will support the sr. manager or manager, Lowe’s Foundation, in the management of a grant portfolio focused on community and technical colleges, community-based nonprofit organizations or national organizations with a local footprint that have programs that provide job readiness, work‑based learning and other supports to individuals seeking employment in the skilled trades.

The Lowe’s Foundation is a separate 501c (3) organization run by an independent Board of Directors and governed by bylaws.

What You Will Do
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the Lowe’s Foundation grants program, its strategies and goals.
  • Leads the grant review process for the assigned portfolio, which includes, but is not limited to, providing Board member and subcommittee support, coordinating subcommittee meetings and applicant sessions, assisting with notifications, preparing subcommittee materials, onboarding grant recipients, board meeting preparation and other related duties.
  • Assists in tracking the portfolio budget.
  • Administers the grants management system to help:
    Processes and tracks submission of grant requests, prepares grant requests for the Foundation Board, filters, reviews and analyzes grant requests, processes approved grants and makes notifications, collaborates with the measurement vendor, assists with grant recipient measurement process, communications and review.
  • Supports Senior Manager and/or Manager with delivery of Foundation grant recipient updates and check‑ins (1:1s, virtual cohort updates, etc.).
  • Leads and facilitates grant recipient engagement and grant recipient events over the grant lifecycle including site visits, luncheons, and convenings in partnership with Lowe’s Foundation events team.
  • Leads sponsor ships and other partnerships with external organizations, ensuring sponsorship benefits are met, fostering clear communication and creating mutually beneficial opportunities for all parties involved.
  • Supports the execution of stakeholder events in partnership with Foundation events team including advocate luncheons, grantee summit, etc.
  • Supports Foundation alumni grant program for assigned portfolio, including award letters, payments, onboarding, and regular engagement.
  • Assists with Lowe’s Foundation grant agreements and payments processing; understands and upholds compliance with grantmaking guidelines and regulations associated with the foundation’s 501(c)3 status.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with Lowe’s Foundation team, grant recipients, Lowe’s Foundation Board members and other key stakeholders.
  • Supports Gable Grants captain recognition and engagement including quarterly recognition, survey, etc.
  • Leads the community impact projects for all Lowe’s Foundation fundraisers and grant recipient projects, as applicable.
  • Actively participates in grant recipient virtual community engagement platform.
  • Supports integration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Builds and maintains an active understanding of the skilled trades pathways, challenges, trends, and opportunities as it relates to the assigned portfolio.
  • Provides guidance and support to new team members, helping them integrate into the team.
  • Completes other foundation‑related duties, as assigned.
