Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities of this LevelRequired Qualifications at this Level
Education
Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Requires a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
ExperienceOne to three years previous clinical nursing experience highly preferred. For specialty area a minimum of one year of previous experience in that area of specialty is required.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or CertificationRequires current American Heart Association BLS certification. National certification in area of specialty and Non‑violent Crisis Intervention certification preferred.
