The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise required by business needs.
- Proactively communicate with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
- Accurately and timely complete planograms, resets, measurements, counts, price changes, signage hanging, and assembly tasks.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate. - Ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 or older.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.
- Generally indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor areas with hard surfaces and adequate lighting and temperature.
- Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
- Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders frequently.
- Move throughout the store for entire shifts.
- Read, write, and count accurately; communicate effectively.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry.
- Complete all required training.
