Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and developing staff.
  • Assist in member service oversight, ensuring all staff provide great customer experience.
  • Perform front desk related tasks, including answering phone calls politely and friendly, handling info calls, and managing member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and account updates.
  • Provide gym tours and meet potential members.
  • Facilitate member service issues and questions.
  • Support team member management and provide backup to the Club Manager as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures and help maintain a positive club image.
  • Oversee cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, ensuring staff are trained on current promotions.
  • Order supplies, maintain inventory, and track reports as needed.
  • Communicate with customers, coworkers, and the public to exceed their needs.
  • Actively listen, empathize, and collaborate to solve problems.
  • Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to challenges, seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Use tact and appropriate language in all interactions.
  • Maintain timely communication with team members and supervisors to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and good work ethic.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
  • Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
