You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

Bio Life Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions as outlined in SOPs, handle medical emergencies, develop Center Physician standing orders and transport donors to emergency care.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when encountering unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation with occupational health or ER, referring to EHS guidance.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate level of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified for the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
