Universal Worker/CNA – Full‑Time Day Shift (6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)

Eventide Linden Senior Living is currently seeking a Full‑Time Universal Worker/CNA to work the day shift (6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

• Must have a current MN CNA license or be able to obtain one upon hire.

• Assists tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
• Observes and/or assists with medications that may have been ordinarily self‑administered. May give oral and trans‑dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse.
• Reads and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provides adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
• Performs blood sugar testing and documents results.
• Provides tenants with emotional and cognitive support.
• Socializes with tenants. Listens, converses, and participates in appropriate activities – reading mail, writing letters, etc.
• Gives guidance, redirection, and re‑orientation to tenants as needed.
• Develops a rapport with tenants and families to understand their needs and interests.
• Documents in tenant records promptly and as instructed.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s plan of care.
• Recognizes and reports significant changes in the tenant’s health, behavior, and/or general appearance to the nurse.
• Complies with infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognizes emergencies and carries out emergency procedures according to policy.
• Promptly reports any occurrences of physical or mental abuse or potential reports to a supervisor.
• Reviews communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
• Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas.
• Sorts, washes, dries, and folds personal clothing and linens.
• Re‑stocks supplies as needed.
• Assists with serving meals in the dining room.
• Performs pet care per policy.

Estimated pay: $18–$19.62 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
