MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or closely related field.
- 1-3 years prior work-related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- LSW Preferred
- Successfully complete a background investigation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- To provide child welfare and protective services to children and their families at risk of abuse and neglect, to reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect, to prevent out of home placement when possible, to improve the family functioning, to deliver services in the least restrictive, most community-based setting, and to provide permanency planning and development when preservation is not possible, all within the mandates of federal and state legislation.
- The ability to be on call after hours 1-3 times per year
