Description

The Clay County Attorney’s Office is now accepting applications for a Part-Time (20 hours per week) Victim/Witness Coordinator.

Status: Non-Exempt

Starting salary: $27.68 per hour – Pay Range for the position is $27.68-$38.68 per hour.

Shift: This position’s anticipated schedule will be between Monday-Friday from 12:30 PM-4:30 PM. This position will work 20 hours per week. Schedule variability is expected based on court calendars and victim/witness needs.

Benefits: This position is eligible for pro-rated vacation, sick and holiday benefits

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Human Services or related field.
  • 6 months previous work-related experience
  • Ability to pass a background check

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide criminal justice support to crime victims.
  • Prepare correspondence for victims and witnesses.
  • Interact and communicate with community agencies in order to provide victims and witnesses with additional resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education

    Bachelors or better.
Experience

    : 6 months.
