• Performs project planning, implementation, and reporting using formal program/project and risk management tools to mitigate cost, schedule and technical impacts.
• Provides program direction during all phases (proposal, contract negotiation/award, kickoff, execution, closeout) to achieve cost, technical, and schedule objectives and mitigate unplanned events with the team and supplier.
• Serves as the primary supplier point of contact and voice of the customer within the organization. Balances and negotiates changes to the project plan to ensure objectives are aligned and executable.
• Resolves conflicts among the team and supplier, and develops short-term and long-term executable plans to lead the program to successful conclusion.
• Work in partnership with the Supplier to manage key supplier master schedules.
• Participate in and recommend selection of key suppliers during development.
• Assess manufacturability and capability with Supplier Engineer for newly awarded work.
• Select suppliers for oversight or advanced supplier audits.
• Participate in proposal reviews and evaluate lead time requirements vs PWIN.
• Exhibits business judgment to resolve supplier issues.

• BA/BS or MA/MS in supply chain, business, engineering or management.
• 5+ years of experience in Contract, Engineering, Project or Program Management in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Effective communication with all levels of management.
• Understanding of risk management, technical design and manufacturing processes.
• Business management skills.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 per year. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
