Mortgage Loan Closer

Overview

Solomon Edwards is seeking a Mortgage Closer for one of its mortgage clients to play a vital role in the final stages of the mortgage lending process. You will ensure a smooth and efficient closing experience for all parties involved.

Base pay range: $28.00/hr - $30.00/hr this range is provided by Solomon Edwards. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Review and analyze loan data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and assemble closing documents, including the final closing disclosure and settlement statements
• Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, processors, title companies, and other parties involved in the transaction
• Coordinate closing logistics, scheduling signings and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and investor loan closing regulations
• Maintain accurate closing schedules and deadlines

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
