Home Loan Specialist I (Entry Level)

TEKsystems – Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA. Final date to receive applications:

• Perform routine data entry and validation tasks.
• Initiate third‑party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood certificate, credit reports).
• Review and validate loan documents.
• Handle routine calls, emails, and/or chat responses.
• Assign and distribute workloads.
• Monitor work queues and intervene as needed.
• Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and resolve issues.

• Reliability / accountability.
• Computer literacy; comfortable working on computers and in different operating applications.
• Flexibility / ability to adapt on the fly.
• Shared sheets / Excel proficiency (formulas, formatting, data manipulation).
• Screenshot/markup tools (Snag It, Snipping Tool, etc.).
• Digital note‑taking / tracking (Google Notes, One Note, etc.).

• Team player with strong attention to detail, able to work independently.
• Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment.
• Effective time‑management skills to deliver work on time.
• Capable communicator, written and oral.
• Proficiency with computers and mainstream applications (Microsoft, Google).
• Financial services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.
• College graduate or equivalent; if no degree, at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Contract to Hire, Moorpark, CA.

• Pay: $23.00 – $23.00 per hour.
