Job OverviewThe Post Funding Analyst will be responsible for various functions directly related to government loans (FHA, VA, USDA). The individual must be skilled in the insuring/guarantee process, have strong communication skills, and manage a portfolio of business partners. Experience in the use of Encompass originating system is a plus.
A Typical DayThe Post Funding Analyst II is responsible for adjusting or correcting post‑funding errors in order to maintain accurate and sellable residential mortgage loans. As the Post Funding Analyst
, you will prepare reports and handle more challenging loans.
- Provide input to the development of new policy and procedures
- Coordinate with the appropriate departments to ensure timely resolution of transactions related to government loan activities
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or related field, preferably in Accounting
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated expertise in various accounting and mortgage concepts, practices and procedures
- Functional understanding of applicable federal, state and local lending regulations
- Ability to perform advanced Excel functions, such as: VLOOKUP, filtering and pivot table creation

Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below.
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid‑range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance‑based compensation and/or stock‑based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
