We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Buyer
, reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor.

• Responsible for procurement of raw materials, machined components, contract manufacturing & services in support of EBAD Moorpark Operations team.
• Coordinate procurement activities with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other personnel for maximum operational effectiveness.
• Functions include ERP / MRP system planning, supplier selection & development, negotiation, scheduling, supplier contract management, conflict resolution, and maintaining cost-effective inventory control for all materials.
• Ensure that all regulatory requirements with respect to purchasing, storage, and transportation of materials are adhered to.
• Develop procurement justification packages and procurement cost analysis in accordance with FAR/DFAR.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities within the organization.
• Provide input in the Supplier Development process by evaluating suppliers’ performance and communicating to facilitate improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum four years of relevant experience, or a related two-year post‑high school diploma/certificate plus six years of relevant experience.
• Core competence in purchasing and materials control services, MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing background desirable.
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• CPSM and/or CPCM certification a plus.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year. Salary is determined by education, experience, skills, and market data.
