Quality Assurance Technician (2nd Shift)

As a Quality Assurance Technician in the 2‑nd shift you will inspect and verify aerospace and defense products and processes, ensuring they meet stringent requirements.

This position is located in the Moorpark, California facility and supports multiple product families. You will provide effective verification of products and/or processes against requirements and disseminate findings.

• Perform inspection of components and assemblies, including receiving, in‑process, and final inspections.
• Complete all required data entries for inspected items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all established safety guidelines.
• Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals.
• Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. and 5+ years of experience inspecting mechanical components in an aerospace or defense environment.

• Capable of utilizing standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, and optical systems.
• Must be capable of programming CMM and utilizing PCDIMS software.
• Basic knowledge of ISO/AS procedures.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Ability to read and understand industry standards.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Effective communication and interaction skills with all levels of management.
• High attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Basic PC fundamentals.

Six Sigma Green Belt through ASQ, CQE/QCM certification, and significant experience working directly with internal and external customers and suppliers are pluses.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year, based on education, experience, skills, and market data.
