A well-established distribution company in Moorpark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations. This role focuses on accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming products and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Verify product quantities and inspect for accuracy and quality
- Match items to purchase orders and record receipts in the system
- Use RF scanners, computers, and printers to process and label received materials
- Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse areas
- Communicate any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area
- Support inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse receiving or logistics
- Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse systems (UPS Worldship a plus)
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
