RR Electric Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of Electrical & HVAC dedicated to delivering exceptional service and high-quality products to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Receiving and Inspecting Shipments: Accept incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated areas, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with regular stock counts.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are correctly labeled and packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Material Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products around the warehouse as needed.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before they are shipped to customers.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards by routinely sweeping, organizing inventory, and following safety protocols.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and other departments to meet production goals and deadlines. - Reporting Issues: Communicate any discrepancies, damages, or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
