About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to become the welcoming face of Aberlour House. This role is key to ensuring visitors, colleagues, and partners experience a warm, efficient, and well‑supported environment from the moment they arrive.
As our Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional service and ensuring the effective coordination of visits and day‑to‑day office activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Managing and coordinating customer and staff visits, including itineraries, hospitality, travel arrangements, and internal communications.
- Acting as a central point of contact for all visit‑related needs and maintaining a clear, centralised system for tracking upcoming visits.
- Preparing meeting rooms, organising refreshments, and supporting wider office administration including room bookings and post handling
- Managing the switchboard and incoming calls to ensure efficient communication across the business.
- General office admin including working on excel
We are looking for someone who is:
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in administration and IT, particularly confident using Excel.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Customer‑focused, friendly, and approachable.
- Proactive in solving problems and supporting others.
Hours:
39 hours per week, 8am - 4:30pm(Mon-Thu)/8am - 3:30pm(Fri)
