As the E-7 Technical Records Specialist you are responsible to Mil CAM via the E-7 DCAM for managing the paper airworthiness records in accordance with applicable regulations. This includes storage, archiving, disposal, quarantining and ensuring availability of paper records produced during the acceptance, maintenance, operational and airworthiness reviews, as well as any other areas requested by Mil CAM. You will also carry out QA checks on aircraft maintenance documentation to provide Mil CAM confidence that maintenance records are correctly completed in accordance with statutory requirements, regulations, and organisational instructions, accurately reflecting work carried out.
Responsibilities- Form part of ISTAR Air Wing Engineering (Lossiemouth) (IAWE (L)) Core Mil CAMO.
- Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes.
- Work with the MMO and AMO Docs Controllers to ensure a seamless, robust document control from Maintenance Execution through to archiving.
- Record management – storage, archiving, disposal, quarantine.
- QA checks on aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Support BDUK and E-7 CAMO internal and external quality assurance audits.
- Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance.
- Clear communicator with a can‑do attitude, drive, commitment and passion for continuous quality improvement.
- Proven ability to drive first‑time quality.
- Human Factors & Error Management.
- Continuation Training: TR75 – CAM Skills for a Defence CAMO, TT08 – Understanding Defence CAMO Regulations.
- LIS (GOLDesp) Training, ASIMS User Training, Resolve User Training.
- Aircraft Exit/Entry Training.
- EWIS Training.
- Engineering Degree qualification.
- Security clearance:
Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check. - Visa sponsorship:
