We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

About Us

The Spey Inn Pub, located within the historic Craigellachie Hotel, is a charming venue renowned for its warm atmosphere and exceptional culinary offerings. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that celebrate the rich flavours of our region. We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation:
    Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes according to our seasonal menu.
  • Section Management:
    Oversee a specific section of the kitchen grill, pastry, or larder to ensure efficient and consistent service.
  • Quality Control:
    Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene throughout the shift.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service.
  • Training:
    Mentor and support junior kitchen staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management:
    Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring the kitchen is well-equipped and organised.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanour during busy service periods.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for local ingredients and a commitment to high-quality food production.
