We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer specialising in Electrical Engineering with a strong focus on Control and Instrumentation (C&I) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise to high-profile projects within a leading global defence, aerospace, and security this senior technical role, you will be responsible for leading engineering activities, providing expert guidance on Control and Instrumentation systems, and ensuring that all electrical engineering deliverables meet rigorous standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and technical specialists to drive project success from conception through to delivery.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
* Leading the design, development, and integration of Electrical and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems.
* Providing technical oversight and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
* Ensuring all engineering solutions comply with relevant industry standards, safety cases, and customer requirements.
* Managing technical risk, resolving complex engineering issues, and participating in design reviews.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
* Preparing technical documentation, specifications, and reports to support project milestones.
