Elixir Garden Supplies is looking for an eCommerce Executive to join its growing digital team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in eCommerce, online trading, customer journey improvement and digital content.

Elixir operates in a fast-moving online environment, selling garden care and related products through its own website and major marketplaces. As the business continues to grow, a key priority is to make the website easier to shop, more commercially effective and better aligned to customer needs.

The eCommerce Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, merchandising and optimisation of the Elixir Garden Supplies website. This role focuses on ensuring products, promotions and customer content are accurately presented and easy to navigate, helping to drive sales and improve the overall online customer experience. Working closely with multiple teams, the successful candidate will use website data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement, support trading activities, create engaging content and assist with light design tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and eager to develop their digital and eCommerce skills within a growing business.

Main Responsibilities Website Trading & Merchandising
  • Support the day-to-day management of the Elixir website, ensuring key pages are accurate, up to date and commercially effective.

  • Review product ordering, filters, navigation and internal links to improve product discovery.
  • Work with commercial and product colleagues to ensure the website reflects current stock availability, pricing, margin priorities and seasonal demand.
  • Regularly check website content, links, pricing, imagery and promotional messages for accuracy.
Customer Journey & Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • Review key customer journeys and identify where the website could be clearer, simpler or more persuasive.
  • Help improve product and category pages so customers have the information they need to buy confidently.
  • Support improvements to product imagery, copy, delivery messaging, trust signals, FAQs, calls to action and promotional messaging.
  • Use customer service queries, website behaviour and sales performance to highlight where customers may need clearer information.
  • Review competitor websites to identify useful ideas and best practice across navigation, merchandising, product pages and promotions.
  • Support simple website tests and improvements designed to increase conversion rate, average order value and customer confidence.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve basket-building, cross-selling, upselling and repeat purchase.
Content, Product Presentation & Creative Support
  • Create and update product descriptions, category copy, short-form buying guidance, FAQs and customer-facing website messaging.
  • Ensure website content is clear, accurate, helpful and written in language customers understand.
  • Improve the consistency and quality of product titles, descriptions, specifications, images and supporting information.
  • Support the creation of landing pages for key seasonal campaigns, promotions and high-priority product areas.
  • Create or amend simple website banners, promotional graphics, product tiles and campaign assets.
  • Help ensure creative assets are clear, on-brand and commercially effective.
  • Use AI tools where appropriate to support content drafting, merchandising ideas, customer messaging and first-draft creative concepts, ensuring all final outputs are reviewed for accuracy and quality.
Reporting, Organisation & Continuous Improvement
  • Support basic website performance reporting, including sales, conversion rate, average order value, traffic, product performance and campaign performance.
  • Help monitor the performance of key categories, products, promotions and landing pages.
