Meters UK are looking for a knowledgeable Product Specialist. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary expert on our products, acting as a liaison between our customers, sales team, and suppliers along with gaining certification for our current products. This role involves understanding customer needs, supporting product enhancements, and ensuring product success in the market.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for sales strategies, and the ability to engage with clients effectively. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and driving sales growth.

You will receive some in house training, although we are also looking for someone with electronics and research experience.

• Addressing inquiries and providing detailed product information.
• Develop a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and use cases.
• Research and development
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Demonstrate products and services to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Engage in upselling opportunities by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for product promotion and market penetration.
• Participate in testing new features to ensure quality and usability before launch.

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a product-focused environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving sales success.
• Technical support experience
• Research and development experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
