Trainee Bus Driver

Overview

We are looking for trainee bus drivers to join our team at Stagecoach Morecambe depot. You’ll be paid to learn how to drive a bus at our Training Academy, gain your PCV licence through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, and become part of a great community.

• Complete our industry-leading training to gain your PCV licence and ongoing CPC training as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship
• Drive Stagecoach s fleet safely and confidently
• Deliver top-notch customer service and ensure every customer has a great journey
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and cared for
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

• You must be 18+ and hold a driving licence for at least 1 year with no more than 6 penalty points; no bans in the past 5 years (no drink/drug drive bans past 10 years); no mobile phone offences in past 3 years
• Right to work in the UK (must have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• A positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
• Recruitment process: short application followed by an interview
