Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Contract-to-Hire)

Compensation: $21hr

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Contract (with potential to become permanent)

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within a dynamic financial services environment. This is a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be a polished professional with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask in a fast‑paced office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and manage front desk operations
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and coordinating office logistics
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
