We are hiring a Universal Banker to provide excellent service through teller activities and sell and service bank products, while maintaining essential controls and safeguards.

The Universal Banker will perform teller activities, including receiving and paying out money, keeping records of transactions, and supporting customer service transactions. The role is also responsible for selling and servicing all bank products and services.

• Handle deposits and withdrawals, open new accounts, process loan applications, and manage daily cash inventories.
• Provide a positive customer experience by building relationships, addressing queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Guide customers in selecting investment options that match their financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Assist customers with digital banking platforms and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure transactions and interactions comply with banking regulations and standards.
• Conduct due diligence on transactions, identify suspicious activity, and report potential fraud.
• Cross-sell products and generate referrals to enhance customer engagement.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers.
• Prepare and verify cashier's checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year of teller experience or 1‑2 years of branch banking/account opening experience.
• Knowledge of Jack Henry or similar banking software.
• In-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services, along with effective sales techniques.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage confidential information.
• Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to analyze situations and reach logical conclusions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Vision, hearing, speech, and movements requiring the use of wrists, hands, and fingers. Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Must work required days and hours and exercise quick thinking, adaptability, and discretion.
