Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Therapist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team in Morehead City, NC.
What You’ll DoAs a Licensed Therapist in our Outpatient clinic you will utilize screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop client treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCP’s). The PCPs will include input from the clients regarding treatment and diverse after-care plans. The therapist may provide services to individuals and groups with substance use and mental health struggles, including initiating contact and working with family members or support systems in the care process.

You’ll earn a competitive salary depending on skills and experience ($50, for provisional licensure and $55, for full licensure). This full-time position offers a flexible schedule Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm with evening flexibility depending on program and client needs. This position is on-site and collaborates on our medication assisted treatment team. We also offer competitive benefits for benefits-eligible positions.

To join our team as the outpatient therapist you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an Outpatient setting. You should be able to work independently, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. We also require:
- Full or provisional licensure: LCSW, LCMHC
- Dual licensure preferred: LCAS
- Experience in Substance Use services preferred
- Maintain valid state-appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
