• Provide patient care in a faithful, diligent, and skillful manner per current acceptable standards of practice in the physician’s professional specialty, applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and accrediting body standards.
• Consult with other physicians concerning matters outside his/her professional specialty.
• Assist in the training and education of students, interns, residents, and other personnel as requested by SCH in matters within the Physician’s professional capacity.
• Assist emergency physician in seeing and treating emergency department patients in a timely manner as requested by SCH in accordance with SCH’s specialty on‑call schedule.
• Comply with all policies, rules and regulations of St. Claire Health Care that are applicable to his/her duties.
• Actively support and participate in performance improvement to achieve excellent patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, teamwork, patient safety and efficient utilization of medical center resources.
• Maintain membership in good standing on the Medical Staff of SCH, maintain unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, maintain Board certification specified in the SCH Bylaws in his/her medical specialty and attend staff conferences, committee and service meetings and comply with the constitution, bylaws, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Medical Staff of SCH.

Completion of accredited Medical School.

Completion of appropriate residency and fellowship training in gastroenterology.

MD/DO/DPM:
Current Medical License by Kentucky Board of Licensure required.
