Overview

Retail Merchandiser (part-time) – Morehead, KY 40351. This role involves working independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark in stores. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. On occasion you may work with other products in the stores you service.

• Your starting pay will be between $13.50 - $14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 6-11 hours per week.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers). The role includes three major components:
• Day-to-day engagement:
  Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products using a provided mobile device; communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising activities. Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Holiday support:
  Work may increase around seasonal events (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) with additional days and extended hours; may be required to work on holidays, including weekends.
• Department resets:
  Participate in installations and tasks like building/installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections; assignments are typically announced two weeks in advance and could include evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision:
  Be part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting other merchandisers in their territories as needed.

This is a physically demanding role requiring high energy. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, and must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You should be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs or ladders.

• You're at least 18 years old.
• You can read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
