Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark in local store teams. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting pay will be $13.50 – $15.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are 6–13 hours.
- Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory. Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers. - Holiday support:
Additional days and extended hours around peak holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and sometimes on the holidays themselves. - Department resets and installations:
Participate in installations and resets of Hallmark fixtures, card sections, and card departments. Usually notified two weeks in advance and may require evenings or weekends. - Team collaboration:
Support other merchandisers as needed within your territory.
This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally, kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
- Consistent transportation to assigned stores.
