The radiology department at Riverside University Health System (RUHS) has an opening for an interventional radiologist.
Located in Southern California's Inland Empire, the hospital is conveniently situated between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, offering access to beaches, deserts, mountains, and cultural venues. Six major airports are within an hour's drive.
The ideal candidate should be interested in expanding a broad range of interventional procedures, including chemo embolization, cryoablation, TIPS, venous thrombectomy, mesenteric angiography, trauma embolization, as well as core procedures like biopsies, central lines, ports, and dialysis access. The position involves up to 80-100% IR work. There is an option for additional film interpretation if desired. Call responsibilities are shared and include weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays;
weekend film reading is not expected.
RUHS is a 439-bed teaching hospital with over 60 clinics across Riverside County. It is a Level I Trauma Center, a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures, and has a new Center of Excellence for Research. A radiology residency program began in July 2022, supporting department growth with over 200,000 imaging exams annually and ongoing equipment upgrades, including a new interventional suite.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary range is $550,000 to $575,000, based on experience and faculty rank. This does not include variable compensation or productivity bonuses. Additional benefits include:
