Overview

Base pay range: $25.00/yr - $35.00/yr

Tutor Me Education is seeking teachers and tutors with Chemistry tutoring experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Moreno Valley, CA.

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students, including those with special education needs.
• Develop customized lesson plans and teaching strategies in alignment with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• Adapt instructional methods, materials, and assessments to cater to individual learning styles and requirements.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents or guardians to discuss progress and address concerns.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and behavioral development.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in special education and incorporate them into teaching practices.

• Able to commute to Moreno Valley, CA
• Previous experience with special education, accommodations, and working with students with learning disabilities (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, focusing on student questions and engagement
• Ability to pass a background check if required
