R&D Coordinator Assistant

Job Summary

The R&D Lab Technician supports the development and testing of new products, ingredients, and packaging materials. This role involves hands‑on work in the lab and pilot plant, accurate data collection, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure successful product scale‑up.

• Prepare and execute product formulations and trials at lab and pilot scale.
• Assist in testing new ingredients, raw materials, and packaging for performance and quality.
• Collect and record accurate test data
  , including measurements, observations, and results.
• Participate in sensory evaluations
  , record feedback, and report findings.
• Maintain lab equipment, tools, and testing areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Support ingredient sourcing and coordinate with suppliers for sample testing.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth formula scale‑up from lab to production.

• Strong math skills (must be able to calculate measurements, percentages, and batch sizes accurately).
• Detail‑oriented and organized in data collection and documentation.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Experience in a lab or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
