ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist customers, set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases.
- Clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
- Maintain proper stock and inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation requirements.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store and requires lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual, and auditory skills.
Qualifications- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 45 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
- Basic PC/Outlook skills.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
