AboutThe Role
The Shipping Clerk will support Shipping management by monitoring the Shipping schedule while checking drivers in and out. Also, assist Shipping Dock Management and Leads with workload distribution such as calling orders down and sequencing loads. Assist Shipping dock with Shipping Dock functions such as loading cartons/pallets/parcels, pallet build, catwalk, metering, and product flow coordinator.
Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $21/HOUR
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday / 9pm - 5:30am (Night Shift)
- Detail oriented.
- Integrity and good work habits required.
- Ability to take directives from manager/supervisor, work with other departments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism when necessary.
- Ability to effectively communicate needs, issues concern to Shipping Supervisor/
- Must be able to operate radio frequency equipment.
- Experience with Company customized computer systems.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- CAL OSHA certified on a Reach, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck, Pallet Jack equipment (if applicable).
- Ability to contribute hands on.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures, e.g., safety.
