LEGGWORK are recruiting a Working Foreman for a long-term heritage restoration project in the Bath area, starting in July 2026. This hands‑on role requires an experienced individual capable of supervising site operations while carrying out practical construction duties to support project delivery. Working on a prestigious heritage scheme, you will oversee daily activities, coordinate trades, maintain health and safety standards, and assist with restoration works where required.

Standard site hours apply.
Overtime Opportunities:
Will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
- Oversee and coordinate day‑to‑day site activities
- Lead by example as a hands‑on Working Foreman
- Monitor quality, productivity, and programme targets
- Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on site
- Carry out practical construction and basic carpentry works where required
- Ensure all works are completed in line with heritage restoration specifications
- Maintain site health, safety, and welfare standards
- Liaise with site management, clients, and other trades
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues as they arise
- Proven experience as a Working Foreman within construction
- Previous heritage or restoration project experience
- Valid SSSTS
- Valid CSCS Card
- Own tools and transport
- Strong understanding of traditional building methods and materials
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage trades while remaining hands‑on when required
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and health & safety
